2017 Wheeled Coach 4x4 Ford F-350 Ambulance

Located in Shawnigan Lake, BC, Canada. I purchased it in 2019 and with the emphasis being placed on longevity and durability, have invested over $10’000 in parts and upgrades. In 2020 have had installed a new factory crate HD transmission, which now has less than 14000km, I have recently installed twin lifetime high output HD alternators, and all 4 batteries load tested, and checked. Along with a freshly completed service. All electrical still in place although some of it has been disconnected or cut when decommissioned. All hardware is in place, including oxygen lines, inverters,  converters, heaters, Whelen system and even suction.

Up for sale is a 2010 Chevy C5500 Ambulance with only 62,000 original miles. This unit runs and drives excellent, has been fleet maintained, and just received a fresh coat of paint. Strong Duramax diesel engine with automatic transmission, starts right up and is ready to hit the road.

Lots of storage inside and out. Box is all aluminum with stainless hardware and hinges, inside of exterior boxes are aluminum diamond plate.
Very straight body, and clean inside.
Gets well over 20mpg on highway, travel through city and idle time averages over 17mpg.
10ft bifolding "handiramp" mounted on rear, can be removed easily if desired.
I personally used it as a motorcycle transport van, but it would make a great camper or work vehicle as well.
Transmission was replaced 15,000 miles ago with a unit with 70,000 miles on it.

Cons:
-The ac compressor is temperamental and only works when it wants to.
-A speed sensor in the transmission reads 5-7 mph high after 50 mph. Doesn't affect drivability, but will not allow cruise control to be used after 50mph.
- Crack in front windshield.

2013 Ford Type 2 Ambulance

2010 Freightliner M2 106 Type 1 Ambulance, Wheeled Coach build.

Approximately 267k miles.  Has been very well maintained by our in house fleet manager and has had a new turbo, new AC and other parts since we have had it.  It is fully functional, pulled from a working environment.   Only reason we're replacing it is that we needed a truck with a chassis that could accommodate a bariatric liftgate.

Has all the standard equipment you'd expect on an ambulance, plus some nice features like a hydraulic main O2 lift that brings the tank down to the ground to make it easier to change.
