The primer is currently inoperative; it was rebuilt last year but has since seized again. The pump also did not build sufficient pressure during the draft test to activate the relief valve. When operating from tank water, the pump was able to build approximately 160 PSI without issue. The department reports that the truck will pump continuously when connected to a hydrant or other pressurized water source. Because of this, it may be particularly well suited for a department operating primarily within a reliable hydrant system.
