1996 Becker E-One Pumper

1996 E-One has served well, used for an average of 20 to 25 calls a year. This top mount pumper has been in active service until July 23, 2026. With low mileage for its years, it still has many years left to serve someone’s needs. Chassis: • Engine 6-cylinder Cummins 320 HP at 2100 RPM, with turbo • Allison transmission • Seating for 6 total, 4 seats with SCBA mounts • 4 compartments for spare SCBA bottles • External ladder storage – lowers to ground level holds (1) 24’ telescoping, (1) roof ladder, (1) attic ladder LADDERS ARE NOT INCLUDED Pumping: • Waterous 1,250 GPM pump (last pump test passed October 2025) • Pump rated capacity 1500 GPM @150 PSI • Engine to pump gear ratio 2.27 to 11 • Priming pump type – rotary gear • 750 gallons water holding capacity • Top Mount pump panel • Permanent master stream deck gun capable (not included) • 6-inch intakes right and left sides • Discharge (2) 2.5” both right and left sides • Discharge (2) 2.5” rear • 6-inch suction hose – 20 feet Recent upgrades Emergency lighting: • Front light bar – replaced with LED • Side bumper lights – replaced with LED • Installed red LED on mid compartment where none was present • Installed ground lighting for night ops • Installed LED lights on top mount panel • Installed LED emergency lights front • Installed LED turn signals on front Extras: • 120V emergency scene lighting with 2 permanently mounted telescoping halogen lights • 120V emergency scene lighting with 1 portable halogen light • Tires front and rear are at 90% new Known issues: • Air leak will bleed off over 4 - 5 hours, does require to be charged up before moving apparatus • Manual valve for cold air and heat, must open or close when seasons changes, twice a year. • Siren speaker missing baffle right side front bumper – still works • Pump primer oil tank has a leak • Engineer seat has wear • Davis headsets – only engineer and captain sides work • Needs 2 battery maintainers to keep batteries charged (4-group 24 batteries).
