1989 Ford Pumper

1989 Western States fire engine in good overall condition, equipped with a 1,000-gallon steel water tank, 1000 GPM pump, and steel plumbing. The truck served as a first-out engine for many years. The apparatus was taken out of first-out service after experiencing a fuel algae issue. The fuel system has since been treated and the issue mitigated. The fuel pump was removed, professionally refurbished, and reinstalled. There have been no fuel-related issues since the repairs were completed. The truck is also equipped with a hydraulic ladder rack. The tires are in good physical condition but are out of date for current NFPA fire apparatus recommendations/standards and should be replaced before being placed back into frontline emergency service. This is a solid older fire apparatus that could be a good fit for a rural fire department, private fire brigade, ranch, industrial site, training use, or other water/fire protection application
