GMC 3500HD Welding/Service truck 9' Stahl enclosed box

Very cool Welding Truck here, a unique opportunity! This was a One Owner gem! Formerly owned by the Dept of Transportation, with only 99k miles, this 6.5L Turbo Diesel engine still has hundreds of thousands of miles left to give. She still drives perfectly! The 1993 GMC 3500HD was a heavy duty piece of equipment, the equivalent today of an F550 or a mini Topkick perhaps. On the back of this rig is a 9' enclosed Stahl Service Body. Model 108. The box is decked out with plenty of doors and cabinet space. Excellent condition and rust and damage free. Lock your doors and cabinets and enjoy peace of mind, protection from elements, and thieves. Custom fit inside the box is a Miller Bobcat 225D diesel welder/generator. The welder/generator has only 43 hours on the meter, which is incredible! Next compartment holds another surprise, a 30 gallon air compressor. Both the compressor and welder/generator have been professionally installed, maintained and operated. They are valuable pieces of equipment and were treated as such. Mounted to the floor of the box are a pair of Weather Tech "pack rat" slide out drawers. The bottom one pulls out 4 feet, and the top one slides out 2 feet. Excellent quality boxes A pleasant addition to the service box is the fact the top slides in, making it a convertible for those long summer days, catch a cool breeze! Around the outside we have 6 new Goodyear load range G tires. Beautiful tires all, the Dept of Transportation spared no expense. A quick search shows those are $500 a tire. Under the hood we can see that the condition of the diesel engine is immaculate, all wires are perfect and clean, the components of the engine are also in excellent condition. Fluids, filters, all have been recently changed and filled. Fleet maintenance standards are incredible at DOT One might draw the conclusion this truck was a maintenance yards Pavement Princess, pampered, decked out, upkept, seldom used. It has a retrofit diesel particulate filter by Huss, professionally installed. Inside the cab is good condition. One small tear on the bench seat. The dash has some sun cracking , typical for GMC/Chevy/Dodges of this era. Also, the doors have some paint that peeled off where the DOT stickers used to be.
