This is a 2017 Ford E-450 gas chassis carrying a 2004 Osage Type III ambulance module, remounted in 2016–2017 by an Osage dealer. The chassis has had recent batteries and a new drive shaft, it runs well, and the original 2004 Osage spec binder comes with the truck. It’s best suited to a buyer who wants a solid box truck for conversion, such as a contractor, plumbing or electrical shop, mobile workshop, or event business, or for a department that needs a module or parts source. Year / Make / Model: 2017 Ford E-450 cutaway chassis Body: 2004 Osage Type III module, originally purchased new and remounted onto the 2017 chassis Mileage: 130,864 (as of September 2026) Engine: Ford gas, original to the 2017 chassis Transmission: Automatic Drive: Color: White with blue stripes and chevrons Recent service: Oil change 6/2026; both batteries replaced 6/2025; drive shaft replaced 3/2025 Patient compartment: Bench seat replaced during remount with a swivel captain’s chair and workstation; airway seat with three-point harness; CPR seat with lap belt; overhead grab rails; interior cabinetry Body and exterior: Curbside and streetside exterior compartments, side entry door, dual rear doors, diamond-plate rear step, LED perimeter and warning lighting, shore power inlet Condition: The chassis runs and has recent service. The patient compartment rides rough and can be noisy over uneven roads, which is common with Type III remounts. The remount cabinetry and workstation show wear and would benefit from refurbishment, or they can be removed for a conversion build. The tires are due for replacement. There’s light cosmetic wear on the exterior, mainly around the rear wheel wells. The windshield wipers, the front passenger turn signal, the patient compartment light timer switch, and several emergency lights have been removed. The rear A/C is functional. A small driver’s side windshield chip was professionally repaired in 2023 and is outside the driver’s line of sight. Adding a drip rail around the module would bring it up to current ambulance spec. Equipment: Included: Original 2004 Osage spec binder Not included: Stryker Power-LOAD and stretcher, radios, and some exterior lighting. Items shown in the photos may not be included.
