Truck is in very good condition for its age. Tires are excellent shape with 75% tread depth remaining. The department had a full turbo system rebuild in 2019. The department utilized this vehicle as a hybrid brush/light rescue truck responding to all calls. The size and output of the pump allows for the truck to be utilized for a relay pumper on large fires, the 4X4 allows for off-road and winter condition travel, and the compartments allows us to carry a full complement of extrication tools and cribbing for light-rescue use. The halogen scene lights were replaced with LED lights earlier this year, and all other emergency lighting works as it should. No rust located on the underside but there is some undercarriage paint missing due to travel in corn stubble.

1993 Stewart & Stevenson 4x4 Commercial Brush Truck

We are selling this brush truck, as we will be receiving a new one shortly. 

It is a 1982 Chevrolet with a bed and skid unit that were put on it in 2024. It has a 300gallon tank and 100ft of hose, along with a 300 gpm Hydra Pump model 25/20. The engine is a 454 ci v8. It is rear wheel drive.

It still has some life to give or you can buy it and remount the skid on a newer chassis.

1982 Chevy Brush Truck w/ 2024 Skid Unit

This 2003 Chevy Silverado with a Skid Unit is being sold directly by our fire department. It still runs and drives great, we just simply don't have enough brush fires to warrant keeping it and we're getting a new rescue truck.
